Why my 4gb pro duo memory stick is fake and who I got it from!
I didn't know it was fake and thought the poor performance was due to my card reader and brand new w850i.
It was only when I browsed the internet for these sorts of problems that I thought the card might be fake. A link to this ebay review was included in 1 of the posts.
I checked it out and now know that my item is fake.
Here is why the packaging is fake:

So now we know why it's fake (and why this page was set up, I can't explain all that in 80 characters for ebay) let's see who I got it from.
I got it from gur_man, a seller based in Thailand who requires payment through bank transfer. He also claims that the item is located in England (Middlesex) however my postal packaging clearly came from Thailand.
So I suggest you avoid him, he refuses to give refunds. Maybe I'll post up some of our emails in which he accuses me of being rude because he is a con artist.

I came across this little weasel and thought I had a deal. I then checked out his address as Thailand and thought it was too good to be true. I withdrew from the transaction on the basis that he had stated the item was in London yet his address was in Thailand.
There are so many fake cards flying around that you can be 99.9% you WILL be buying a fake on ebay.
Sorry to hear this joker burned you but at least now you know ;))
I was also burned by that guru guy at the same time as you. I anyhow never received anything... even though our stories are similar, he getting furios when I called this dubious about the Thai address.... hahaha, and I who just love the people in Thailand. Well, he probably needs the money more than I do, he can use the money probably to build a 3 story house and upgrade from modem to ADSL.
